Despite the breadth and depth I find this to be a great alternative to the MHB.
Pros
Colored charts, quality paper, spiral binding and just enough info for most commonly referenced data.
Cons
Has errors in some areas
No more free drill gauge included :(
At least a bookmark with some handy table/data would be nice
Pricey for the amount of info
Great book

I have started up my own CNC precision engineering company and this little book was gifted to me by my parents as a Christmas present.
It is the first place I go to now for all my drill feeds and speeds, tapping data, drawing symbols and information and not only is it good on the shop floor but it has its own used in the design department when cadding up a project.
Pros
Every Engineer should carry one!
Cons
Nothing
Nice!

Excellent upgrade on the previous edition. I have all three editions now and each has been a quantum leap forward.
I'm never without mine as I undertake many different disciplines in my job of renovating a grade 1 listed stately home.
Pros
The adhesive tabs are a real boon, makes it even easier to locate information.
Love the back cover charts so you dont even have to open it for useful information.
Cons
None so far
Very good
