Now on to 3rd Ed of pocket Engineer’s Blackbook and even better than 2nd Ed. THE pocket reference for machining and general workshop engineering data and conversions. Although I don’t do a lot of new machining, this is a great reference for older inch/imperial sizes for restoration of old machinery & museum objects.
Pros
Ultimate pocket reference, clearly laid out and comprehensive. Easy access to information, especially with provided tabs.
Cons
Generally none… but if pushed I guess that although there is quite a lot of metric equivalents in the Inch version of the book, you’d probably need the Metric book for modern machining in U.K. & Europe. Would be great as a phone app.
Lots of valuable info

Precis vad jag behövde. Nu behöver jag inte googla efter svar längre.
Pros
Smutsavisande sidor. Står att läsa det mesta man behöver i verkstaden
Cons
Lite liten. Svårt för oss med dålig syn. Boken borde även finnas i större storlek.

Bought the Swedish metric edition. Have only skimmed it so far, but it seems most stuff you need is there. Do recommend as a workshop companion to check feeds and speeds and other table data and details you haven't bothered storing in wetware.
Pros
Pages are covered with plastic so stains are removable.
Cons
A bit too small for my liking.

Very useful reference book to keep around when designing parts as well as when machining them.
Pros
It's a good size so you can easily carry it with you but not so small you can't read it easily.
Cons
The page tabs and books binding could be better.
