Little black book

August 5, 2025 By: Anthony (Magnolia, United States)

A really awesome tool. High print quality, I got the work bench version and its so easy to read, I used the provided tabs to mark all the areas I use. Really good stuff in here. If you're a machinist, toolmaker or engineer I highly recommend.

Pros
Well organized, pre printed tabs, huge amount of data, 2 sizes offered

Cons
Dense, not really a con but it is dense

Fantastic little book to have in your toolbox

June 18, 2025 By: Matt Anton (Bonshaw, Australia)

Comments
Wow what a fantastic little book to have in your toolbox! It has more information than I'd ever need, but it is definitely a handy reference for most common conversions and things like that. There's lots of great information for tinkerers in the garage and engineers alike!

Pros
Small form factor, detail of content, ease of finding relevant information, price

Cons
Quality of the book is generally fine, however most of the pages are stuck together at the binding from manufacture, which causes some sections on each pages to tear between the binding holes.

My old Zeus book on steroids!

May 30, 2025 By: Rodney Savage (Glen Waverley, Australia)

Comments
I'm amazed how much info you've been able to pack into this pocket reference...as I say it's my 1978 Zues pocket book on streroids

Pros
Lot's of up to date info with great illustrations

Cons
The font size is a bit challenging, but hey that's just old eyes...the old Zues book is barely legible by comparison. I'd like to see the larger version of your black book but Hare & Forbes don't seem to stock on the shelves...?
